Terms of Service

By using Vibe you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short.

What Vibe does

Vibe shows you songs being played by other Vibe users in your approximate area. To do that, Vibe reads your Spotify currently-playing and recently-played data while the app is open, and tags new listening events with a coarse geohash bucket.

Eligibility

You must be 13 or older. You need a Spotify account.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Use Vibe to harass, intimidate, or attempt to identify other listeners.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass our k-anonymity or rate limits.
• Spoof your location.

Vibe is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Spotify. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB. Your use of Spotify through Vibe is also subject to Spotify's terms.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer

Vibe is provided "as is" without warranties. We don't guarantee continuous availability and we may change features.

Analytics and partner insights

If we ever license or publish popularity or trend metrics, they will be based on aggregate, non-identifying statistics (for example, counts by area and time period), not on selling identifiable listening histories or precise locations of individuals.
